The short version: Mrkr does not collect, store, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.
Mrkr does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
All data you create in Mrkr — your habits, completions, streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
Mrkr makes zero network requests. The app works entirely offline. There is no server, no API, and no cloud infrastructure involved.
Mrkr does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Mrkr may request permission to send local notifications if you choose to set reminders for your habits. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device by the operating system. No notification data is sent to any external server.
Mrkr provides a data export feature that generates a JSON file containing all your habits, completions, and settings. This file is created on your device and shared only through your device's native share sheet. Mrkr has no access to where you choose to save or send this file.
You can delete all your data at any time using the "Reset All Data" option in Settings. Uninstalling the app will also remove all stored data from your device.
Mrkr does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Since Mrkr collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
